In a shocking incident from Ludhiana, two men have filed a police complaint against a friend, accusing him of pressuring them for an unnatural act and later orchestrating a violent assault when they refused. The Haibowal police have initiated an investigation based on the serious allegations.
Chilling Details of the Alleged Incident
The complaint states that on December 28, the victim and his friend visited the house of the main accused in Ludhiana. It was there that the host allegedly began pressuring both guests to engage in an unnatural sexual act with him. When the duo firmly refused his advances, the situation escalated rapidly.
The accused then resorted to threats, warning the victims that he would falsely implicate them in a theft case if they did not comply. Despite their continued refusal, the accused allegedly made a call, summoning his associates to the location.
Violent Assault and Police Action
The complainant alleged that the accused's unidentified aides soon arrived and proceeded to physically assault both men. The attack left the victims with injuries. Following the traumatic event, the duo gathered courage and approached the Haibowal police station to lodge an official complaint.
Acting on the complaint, the police have registered a formal case. ASI Om Parkash, the investigating officer, confirmed that the case has been filed against the main accused and his two unidentified accomplices. The charges have been framed under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including:
- Section 115(2) for voluntarily causing hurt.
- Section 126(2) for wrongful restraint.
- Section 351(3) for criminal intimidation.
- Section 3(5) for common intention.
Investigation Underway
ASI Om Parkash stated that a thorough investigation is currently in progress to apprehend the accused individuals. He added that the police are meticulously verifying the allegations concerning the pressure for an unnatural act. The hunt for the accused and his associates is ongoing as law enforcement works to bring the perpetrators to justice.
This case has highlighted serious allegations of coercion, intimidation, and violence within a social circle, leading to a significant legal response under the new BNS framework.
