A 30-year-old man has been arrested by Wadala Police in connection with the murder of his wife's paramour near Reay Road railway station in Mumbai. The incident took place on the evening of May 27, around 10 pm to 10:15 pm.
Background of the Case
According to police officials, the accused's wife had separated from him and was living with the victim, identified as Ansar Shaikh. The accused was enraged upon discovering the relationship. On the night of the incident, he confronted Shaikh near the railway station.
The Confrontation and Attack
The two men engaged in a heated verbal altercation, which quickly escalated into physical violence. The accused kicked and punched Shaikh repeatedly, then threw him to the ground. Even after Shaikh lost consciousness, the accused continued the assault, using stones to bludgeon him to death.
Legal Action
Following the incident, Wadala Police registered a murder case against the accused and took him into custody. He is currently in police custody as investigations proceed.
