A 27-year-old man was stabbed to death during a dispute at a birthday party held at a hotel in Lalru, leading to a murder case being filed against three individuals and their unknown accomplices. No arrests have been made so far in this tragic incident.

Details of the Victim and Incident

The deceased has been identified as Amandeep, an unmarried resident of Dehri village in Ambala, Haryana. According to Ranveer Sandhu, the station house officer of Lalru police station, the party was organized for Preet, a resident of Mandaur village in Ambala district, at a hotel located on the Ambala-Chandigarh highway.

The celebration turned violent around 10:30 PM when an argument erupted among the friends. Amandeep attempted to intervene in the altercation and was attacked with a knife. Gagandeep, the brother of the deceased, stated that Jashan, a resident of Chhajju Majra in Ambala district, allegedly stabbed Amandeep in the chest before fleeing the scene.

Police Response and Investigation

Amandeep was rushed to a private hospital, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival and promptly informed the police. Subsequently, the body was transferred to Derabassi Civil Hospital for a postmortem examination, after which it was handed over to the victim's family members.

In response to the incident, the police have registered a case against Preet, Jashan, Happy, and their accomplices. As part of the ongoing investigation, authorities have seized two cars and launched a comprehensive search operation to apprehend the accused individuals.

The case has drawn attention to the escalating tensions at social gatherings and the need for heightened security measures in public venues. The police are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation and ensure justice for the victim.
