A man and his two sons have been sentenced to life imprisonment by a court in Fatehabad, Haryana, for the murder of a man in 2022. The incident took place in the Bhattu Kalan area of Fatehabad district, where the victim was killed over a land dispute.

The convicted individuals were identified as Rajkumar and his sons, Sonu and Monu. According to the prosecution, the trio attacked the victim, identified as Ramesh, with sharp-edged weapons on the night of March 12, 2022. Ramesh succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The motive behind the murder was an ongoing land dispute between the families.

The case was investigated by the local police, who filed a chargesheet against the accused. During the trial, the prosecution presented 15 witnesses and substantial evidence, including the postmortem report and the weapon used in the crime.
