Autorickshaw Driver Faces Charges for Assault and Vandalism at Mangaluru Gas Agency
A case has been registered against an autorickshaw driver in Mangaluru for allegedly assaulting staff and causing significant property damage at a gas agency located in Panemangalore village. The incident, which occurred on Friday, has prompted an ongoing investigation by local authorities.

According to the complaint filed by Kunal Bhuhnia, a 27-year-old manager at the gas agency in Melkar Bogodi, Bantwal, the accused, identified as Afreez, aged 28 and a resident of Sajipamooda, Bantwal, arrived at the agency driving an autorickshaw. He allegedly entered the premises and engaged in a verbal altercation with office staff member Ashwin, which escalated into a physical assault. Following this, Afreez stepped outside and proceeded to damage property belonging to the gas agency, resulting in an estimated loss of Rs 48,000.

Based on the complaint, a formal case has been registered at the Bantwal Town police station.
