Self-Proclaimed Maulana Apprehended in Gruesome Triple Homicide Case in Delhi

In a shocking development, a self-styled maulana has been taken into custody by the Delhi Police in connection with a sensational triple murder case. The bodies of two men and one woman were discovered inside a car in the Peeragarhi area of Outer Delhi, sparking a high-priority investigation.

Accused Identified as Habitual Offender with Criminal History

The arrested individual has been identified as Kamruddin, also known as "Baba", a resident of Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh. Police investigations revealed that he was operating a purported tantric center in both Loni and Firozabad. Authorities described him as a habitual offender with a documented history of involvement in serious criminal activities.

According to police statements, Kamruddin allegedly targeted unsuspecting victims by promising them "Dhanvarsha" – sudden financial windfalls – through elaborate tantric rituals. His modus operandi involved first gaining the trust of his targets, psychologically manipulating them, and then administering poison concealed within traditional Indian sweets known as laddoos.

Discovery of Three Deceased Victims in Peeragarhi

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer) Sachin Sharma provided details about the initial discovery. On February 8, police received an emergency call reporting three individuals lying unconscious inside a white vehicle in Peeragarhi. Responding officers arrived to find all three occupants deceased.

The victims were identified as:

  • Randhir (76) – found in the driver's seat
  • Laxmi (40) – discovered in the rear seat
  • Shiv Naresh (42) – also located in the rear seat

During a thorough inspection of the vehicle, police recovered multiple items including:

  1. Liquor bottles and empty glasses
  2. Cold drink bottles
  3. Mobile phones and personal documents
  4. Cash, helmets, and jackets
  5. Aadhaar cards and other personal belongings

Family members of the deceased explicitly ruled out suicide and expressed serious concerns about the suspicious circumstances surrounding their deaths.

Technical Investigation Reveals Detailed Timeline

The case received top investigative priority with authorities conducting detailed technical analysis. Examination of call data records and location tracking established that all three victims had been in regular contact with Kamruddin, who had promised them financial prosperity through mystical rituals.

Investigators determined that the trio had traveled to Loni in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, one day prior to the incident. On the day of their deaths, they made another journey to Loni and maintained communication with the accused throughout.

Technical evidence further indicated the presence of a fourth individual in the vehicle during the victims' return trip to Delhi. Subsequent analysis confirmed this person was Kamruddin himself. Police established that he boarded the car in Loni and later abandoned it at the exact location where the bodies were eventually discovered.

Interrogation Reveals Chilling Details of the Crime

Following his apprehension, Kamruddin underwent extensive questioning. Initially, he allegedly attempted to mislead investigators but failed to provide coherent explanations. During sustained interrogation, he eventually disclosed crucial details about the crime.

Kamruddin revealed that approximately two months earlier, Laxmi had been introduced to him through an associate named Salim. She subsequently brought Shiv Naresh and Randhir to meet him. The accused allegedly convinced all three to perform a special "pooja" for financial gain, instructing them to arrange ₹2 lakh in cash along with liquor and cold drinks for the ritual.

According to police accounts, Kamruddin prepared laddoos laced with poison and accompanied the trio in their vehicle. During the journey, he allegedly persuaded them to consume alcohol, soft drinks, and the poisoned sweets. Once they lost consciousness, he allegedly stole the cash and fled the scene, leaving the vehicle with the victims inside.

Previous Criminal Involvement and Ongoing Investigation

Police confirmed that technical and circumstantial evidence strongly corroborated Kamruddin's presence in the car during the critical time period. Investigators also uncovered that the accused had previously been involved in two separate murder cases – one registered in 2014 in Raja Khera, Dholpur, Rajasthan, and another in Makhkhanpur, Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh.

The investigation remains active with authorities pursuing additional leads and evidence. The case highlights the dangers of fraudulent spiritual practitioners exploiting vulnerable individuals with promises of miraculous financial solutions through questionable rituals.
