Meerut Gym Trainer Arrested for Heinous Crimes Against Teacher and Minor Daughter

In a shocking case from Meerut, a 37-year-old gym trainer has been apprehended by police for allegedly sexually exploiting a school teacher and repeatedly raping her 14-year-old daughter over a period of several months. The arrest was made on Thursday following a detailed investigation and a carefully laid trap by law enforcement officials.

Details of the Alleged Exploitation and Assault

The 38-year-old victim, who is a divorced school teacher, informed authorities that she first encountered the accused trainer four years ago when she joined the gym. Over time, their professional acquaintance developed into a friendship, which eventually evolved into a relationship. During this period, the trainer allegedly maintained physical relations with the woman under the guise of their personal connection.

According to the formal complaint lodged with the police, the trainer began visiting the woman's home regularly under the pretext of their relationship. He also befriended her minor daughter, often offering to take her to and from school, thereby gaining unsupervised access to the child.

Discovery of Obscene Chats and Subsequent Disclosure

The case came to light on Tuesday when the teacher allegedly discovered explicit and obscene chat conversations on her daughter's mobile phone. These messages were purportedly exchanged between the minor girl and the gym trainer. Upon confronting her daughter about the inappropriate communications, the girl broke down and revealed the horrific truth.

The 14-year-old victim disclosed that the accused trainer had raped her multiple times since October of the previous year. Furthermore, she stated that the perpetrator had threatened to kill her mother if she ever revealed the assaults to anyone, instilling fear and ensuring her silence.

Legal Action and Arrest of the Accused

Based on the detailed complaint, the Meerut police registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the gym trainer under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The charges include Section 123 for causing hurt by means of poison, Section 65(1) for rape, Section 351 for criminal intimidation, and Sections 3/4 of the POCSO Act specifically addressing sexual assault against minors.

To apprehend the suspect, the police devised a strategic plan. The victim teacher called the trainer to her house under the pretense of a meeting. Upon his arrival, law enforcement officials were waiting and promptly arrested him. This coordinated effort ensured the accused was taken into custody without incident.

Ongoing Investigation and Background of the Accused

Senior Superintendent of Police (City) Ayush Vikram Singh stated that the investigation is ongoing, with authorities actively working to determine whether the trainer exploited other women at the gym. "We are finding out if he exploited other women in the gym as well," Singh confirmed, highlighting the broader scope of the inquiry.

Police investigations have revealed that the accused trainer is married and has two children of his own, adding a layer of complexity to the case. The contrast between his personal life and the alleged crimes has raised significant concerns within the community.

The case has sent shockwaves through Meerut, underscoring the vulnerabilities faced by women and children in seemingly safe environments. Authorities are urging anyone with additional information to come forward as they continue to investigate the full extent of the trainer's alleged activities.
