The events unfolded on December 1, around 6:45 PM, when a team was on a routine patrol in the area. Their vigilance paid off when they spotted Akshay alias Alu Anil Kadu, a 30-year-old local resident, acting in a highly suspicious manner. As the officers moved to question him, Kadu attempted to flee the scene on foot, triggering an immediate pursuit.

Weapon Recovered After Apprehension

The police team gave chase through the neighbourhood and successfully cornered the suspect. He was apprehended without any physical resistance. A subsequent frisking of the accused led to a critical discovery: a knife was found concealed inside his trousers. The law enforcement officials promptly seized the weapon as evidence.
