The altercation began around 12:30 AM when complainant Sheikh Aqeel Sheikh Jalil, a 45-year-old resident of Lalzhenda Chowk, went for dinner with a friend. When the victims refused to pay, the situation escalated dramatically. The accused allegedly summoned additional accomplices to the location, where they launched a coordinated attack using wheels and metal rods as weapons. The assault was so severe that police later registered charges including attempt to murder and rioting.

Kapil Nagar police, under the leadership of senior police inspector Satish Ade, swiftly responded to the complaint filed by Sheikh Aqeel. The investigation team, which included PSI Yogesh Nalte and other officers, worked diligently to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.

All those arrested hail from Kamgar Nagar and surrounding areas within Kapil Nagar jurisdiction. Police sources indicate that several additional suspects remain at large, with search operations actively underway to locate them.

Beyond the physical assault on the two victims, the attackers also vandalized and damaged Sheikh Aqeel's vehicle during the incident. This additional property destruction has compounded the seriousness of the charges against the accused.
