Former HR Executive and Numerologist Dies After Jumping from Terrace in Nagpur
In a tragic incident in Nagpur, a 51-year-old former HR executive with a jewellery company and a practising numerologist jumped from the terrace of her residence at Tatya Tope Nagar on Thursday evening. The police rushed her to a private hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries at 4am on Friday.
Details of the Deceased and Relationship
The deceased, identified as Reshma Rawatkar, was a divorcee and was in a live-in relationship with her former colleague. According to police reports, her partner stated that frequent quarrels over suspected infidelity, combined with pressure from neighbours, drove her to take the extreme step.
Events Leading to the Tragedy
The couple was engaged in heated exchanges throughout Thursday, it is learnt. On being informed by some locals, the police tried to intervene and pacify the duo. Despite these efforts, the situation escalated, culminating in the tragic jump from the terrace.
Police Investigation and Initial Findings
The case was initially registered as an accidental death at the Bajaj Nagar police station, leaving a trail of suspicion and questions over the circumstances. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the exact sequence of events and any contributing factors.
