Police Crack Murder Case in Tirupati
Nellore rural police have successfully solved the murder case of Kottividi Penchalayya, who was brutally killed on Friday evening near the Kallurupalli Housing Board arch. The investigation revealed that long-standing disputes in the colony led to the fatal attack.
Murder Stemmed from Local Disputes
Disclosing the case details to media on Sunday, Nellore rural DSP Ghattamaneni Srinivasa Rao stated that the victim was returning home when he was intercepted and attacked by a group of youngsters. The investigation uncovered that the murder resulted from tensions between Penchalayya and a local woman, Arava Kamakshi, who was involved in ganja-related activities.
The victim had raised concerns about her illegal activities, including gatherings of youths with criminal backgrounds at her residence. The hostility escalated when Kamakshi felt insulted after Penchalayya opposed her involvement in the colony's temple committee. This ongoing conflict prompted her and her associates to plan the violent assault.

The attackers hit his scooter with their bikes, causing him to fall, then chased and stabbed him multiple times before escaping the scene.
