Delhi Police Apprehend Occult Practitioner in Poison Laddoo Murder Case
In a shocking development, the Delhi Police have arrested an occult practitioner for the alleged murder of three individuals using poison-laced laddoos. The accused, identified as Kamruddin alias Baba, is a resident of Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh who operated tantric centers in Loni and Firozabad.
Grisly Details of the Crime
According to police statements, Kamruddin lured his victims by promising them 'dhanvarsha' - a shower of wealth through tantric rituals. After gaining their confidence, he allegedly administered poison mixed in ladoos along with liquor and soft drinks. Once the victims lost consciousness, he fled with their cash and valuables.
The incident came to light on February 8 when police discovered three unconscious individuals in a locked car near the Peeragarhi flyover. All three were rushed to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital where doctors declared them brought dead.
Victims and Evidence
The deceased have been identified as:

- Shiv Naresh (42), property dealer from Nagli Dairy
- Laxmi (40), resident of Jahangirpuri
During vehicle inspection, police recovered multiple items including:

- Empty glasses
- Mobile phones and cash

Police Investigation and Modus Operandi
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer) Sachin Sharma stated, "He was apprehended following a detailed technical and field investigation. He was involved in a well-planned conspiracy to eliminate the victims and rob them of cash and valuables."
Further investigation revealed that Kamruddin had boarded the victims' vehicle in Loni and later abandoned it at the location where it was discovered. The police determined that family members had ruled out suicide but expressed suspicions about the deaths, prompting the investigation.
How the Victims Were Lured
During interrogation, Kamruddin disclosed that a person named Salim introduced him to Laxmi, who subsequently introduced him to Shiv Naresh and Randhir. The occult practitioner convinced all three to perform a pooja, promising them wealth. He instructed them to bring ₹2 lakh along with liquor and cold drinks, claiming these were essential for the ritual.
"As per his disclosure, after the victims consumed the poison-laced laddoos and drinks, they started feeling unwell and eventually lost consciousness. He then took away the cash and fled," the officer explained.
