Police Team Attacked During Domestic Dispute Response in Fatehabad
Two police personnel suffered injuries after a Dial-112 team came under attack in Gajuwala village of Fatehabad district. The incident occurred while the team was responding to a complaint about a man being assaulted by his son.
Violent Confrontation Erupts at the Scene
According to police reports, the Dial-112 Bhuna team received information that a youth named Ramu was beating his father. When the police team reached the spot, Ramu and an accomplice allegedly launched an attack on the officers.
During the assault, Constable Surendra Singh was struck on the ear with a stick. The blow caused profuse bleeding. The police immediately reported the incident, prompting a second Dial-112 team from Tohana to rush to the location.
Second Team Also Faces Attack
The second team, led by in-charge Ramesh Chandra, arrived at the scene. However, the accused allegedly attacked this team as well. Several police personnel sustained injuries in this second confrontation.
Ramesh Chandra was among those injured. The injured officers were quickly taken to the civil hospital for medical attention.
Serious Injuries Require Advanced Treatment
Due to the serious nature of his injuries, Constable Surendra Singh required advanced medical care. Authorities referred him to Agroha for specialized treatment.
Meanwhile, Ramesh Chandra is currently undergoing treatment at the civil hospital. His condition is being monitored closely by medical staff.
Police Launch Investigation
The police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the accused individuals. An investigation into the incident has been launched to determine all the facts and circumstances surrounding the attack.
