Pregnant Woman Accuses Hospital Employee of Secret Filming

BENGALURU: An FIR has been registered after a 36-year-old pregnant woman accused a male employee at a private hospital on Sarjapur Road of allegedly attempting to secretly photograph or film her inside a restroom, according to news agency PTI on Monday. The incident reportedly took place on May 21.

In her complaint, the woman stated that she became suspicious after noticing the staff member behaving unusually while she was inside the washroom. According to police, the woman suspected that the accused may have attempted to capture her photos or videos using his mobile phone while she was in the restroom. When she confronted him, he allegedly fled from the spot.

The woman said the incident left her distressed and traumatised, especially as she is pregnant. “This complaint is submitted requesting appropriate legal action against the accused hospital management,” she said.

During the preliminary investigation, no alleged photos or videos were found on the accused’s mobile phone. “We have issued notices to the accused and the hospital administration in this regard.
