Chandrakala Bhambure, who suffered minor injuries in the attack, lodged a formal complaint with the Khed police on Wednesday. She stated that the accused began thrashing her husband, and when she intervened to protect him, she too was assaulted. During the scuffle, Sopan Bhambure fell to the ground, and the relatives allegedly kicked him in the chest, causing severe injuries.
