The confrontation unfolded at approximately 7:45 PM on Monday in the Phulenagar locality, situated off the Pune-Alandi Road. According to police reports, Constable Ankush Kachi from the Vishrantwadi police station responded to an emergency call placed by his neighbor, which prompted his arrival at the scene.
Upon reaching Phulenagar, Constable Kachi encountered the real estate agent, who was allegedly creating a significant disturbance in the area. The agent was reportedly shouting abuses and causing a ruckus, directing his anger towards his mother and other relatives due to unresolved family issues.
Assault on the Officer and Subsequent Threats
In an attempt to intervene and restore order, Constable Kachi approached the agitated individual. However, the situation escalated rapidly when the real estate agent physically pushed the constable and tore his uniform, an act that constitutes a direct assault on a public servant.
