In a significant development, Madhya Pradesh police have detained a 30-year-old man in connection with the explosion at the Budhi Rangir temple complex in Sagar district. Authorities have categorically stated that the incident is not related to terrorism but stems from a personal marital dispute.

Investigators revealed that the suspect allegedly orchestrated the blast to frame his wife and others he believed influenced her decision to leave him. A senior police officer explained, "This is purely a case of marital discord. The suspect intended to implicate specific individuals who he thought had persuaded his wife to abandon their marriage."

The explosion occurred on Tuesday night at the Harsiddhi Devi Dham temple complex, severely injuring three family members. Radheshyam Raikwar (48), his wife, and their 11-year-old daughter Sanjana were all harmed in the blast. While the parents are now in stable condition, young Sanjana remains under intensive medical care in Bhopal, battling serious injuries from the incident.
How the Explosive Device Was Planted
Police disclosed that the suspect concealed an improvised explosive device inside a wired wooden box designed to resemble a speaker. This deceptive object was left outside the family's coconut and prasad shop within the temple premises. Unaware of its dangerous contents, the shopkeeper brought the box inside, triggering the explosion shortly afterward.

Sources indicate the detained individual has prior experience handling explosives from working at mining sites. Additionally, one of his relatives is reportedly involved in the sale of detonators, which may have facilitated access to explosive materials.
