The Pune rural police have launched a comprehensive investigation after a severed human leg was discovered on a roadside in Indapur taluka, sending shockwaves through the local community. The grim finding occurred on Wednesday morning in Kalamb village, located approximately 130 kilometers from Pune city.

According to officials from the Walchandnagar police station, the incident came to light around 7:30 AM on Wednesday when an alert local villager spotted the dismembered limb on the Kalamb Nimsakhar road and immediately notified authorities. Initial examination suggests the leg belongs to a middle-aged male and was severed from below the knee.
