Six Lives Lost in Devastating Highway Collision in Dausa District
A horrific road accident on National Highway-21 has resulted in the deaths of six individuals. The tragedy unfolded late Tuesday night near Kailai in the Sikandra police station area of Dausa district, Rajasthan.
Details of the Fatal Collision
According to official reports, a Swift Desire car collided head-on with a trailer, causing severe damage and immediate chaos at the accident site. The impact was so intense that all occupants of the car sustained critical injuries.
Emergency Response and Hospitalizations
Four injured individuals were urgently transported to Sikandra Hospital for medical attention. Tragically, doctors declared four victims dead upon arrival:
- Lokesh, son of Govardhan Yogi
- Dilkhush, son of Banwari Yogi
- Manish, son of Harimohan Yogi
- Ankit, son of Lalaram Bairwa
All four deceased were residents of Kalakhoh village.
Additional Fatalities Despite Medical Efforts
Two other critically injured victims received first aid before being referred to Dausa District Hospital for more comprehensive treatment. One of them, Samay (son of Ram Singh Yogi from Kalakhoh), was pronounced dead after medical examination.
The remaining injured person, Naveen (son of Mahesh Yogi), was transferred to Jaipur for advanced medical care. He succumbed to his injuries during transit, bringing the total death toll to six.
Dr. Vinod Meena, duty officer at Dausa District Hospital, confirmed the sequence of events: "Two injured from the Kailai accident were brought here. One was declared dead, while the other was referred to Jaipur. Later, we received information that the referred patient also died during treatment."
Police Investigation and Aftermath
Local police responded promptly after being alerted about the collision. Officers secured the accident area and have launched a thorough investigation to determine the exact cause of this devastating incident.
The bodies of all six victims have been placed in the hospital mortuary. Authorities have notified the families of the deceased about this heartbreaking loss.
