Thiruvananthapuram Water Supply Disrupted for Repairs

Thiruvananthapuram: Due to urgent repair work needed to fix a sudden leak in Kerala Water Authority's 900 mm pipe near Thattinakam bridge, drinking water supply will be disrupted in several parts of the city. Supply will be completely disrupted on Friday and partially disrupted until May 1.

The affected wards include Kazhakkoottam, Chanthavila, Kattayikonam, Sreekaryam, Cheruvakkal, Chellamangalam, Chempazhanthy, Powdikonam, Njandoorkonam, Sainik School, Chengottukonam, Karyavattom, Pangappara, Pallithura, Aatipra, Poundukadavu, Aakkulam, Kulathoor, Alathara, Kuzhivila, Kesavadasapuram, Edavakode, Pattom, Ulloor, and Muttada.

KWA has advised consumers to take necessary precautions and store adequate water for their daily needs during the disruption period. Residents are urged to cooperate with the repair work to restore normal supply as soon as possible.
