The driver of the car, Govindaraju, aged 33 and also from Mandya, sustained critical injuries. He was rushed to MIMS Hospital but later succumbed to his wounds. The third occupant, Dinesh, survived with injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment at the same hospital, according to police officials.
