In a significant breakthrough, Jhunjhunu police have successfully cracked two separate murder cases that occurred on Sunday within the Dadiya police station area. The swift action led to the arrest of both accused persons within 24 hours of the crimes being committed.
Double Homicide Shocks Rural Communities
According to Superintendent of Police Praveen Nayak Nunawat, the police department responded promptly to two brutal murders that took place on Sunday in different villages under their jurisdiction. The cases involved family members turning against each other with fatal consequences.
The first incident occurred in Beri village, where 60-year-old Amar Singh was arrested for allegedly murdering his wife, Dhap Kanwar. Police investigations revealed that the murder was committed during a domestic dispute while Singh was in an inebriated state.
Swift Police Action Brings Justice
Following the crime, Amar Singh attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by police personnel from the Beri Johad area within 24 hours of committing the offense. The quick response demonstrated the efficiency of the local police force in handling serious crimes.
In the second case, 32-year-old Mukesh Kumar was arrested for the murder of his brother, Shrawan Kumar, in the Tarpura area. The investigation uncovered a history of conflict between the brothers that ultimately led to the tragic outcome.
Brotherly Conflict Turns Deadly
SP Nunawat explained that Mukesh Kumar operated a hostel in Sikar, which his brother Shrawan Kumar frequently disrupted while under the influence of alcohol. The constant disturbances became so severe that Mukesh was forced to close down his business establishment.
The situation escalated further whenever Shrawan visited their native village, where he continued to harass and trouble his brother. Frustrated by the persistent harassment, Mukesh Kumar allegedly planned his brother's murder and executed it using a sharp weapon.
Both cases highlight the devastating consequences of domestic disputes and substance abuse in rural communities. The Jhunjhunu police have demonstrated their commitment to maintaining law and order by solving these serious crimes within record time.
