A dramatic protest unfolded in Sihora town of Jabalpur district on Wednesday when a woman climbed a mobile tower, alleging that her relatives and a local businessman had fraudulently grabbed her land. The incident triggered panic in the area and drew a large crowd of onlookers to the spot.

The woman, identified as Sonam Mallah, a resident of Ward No. 3 in Sihora, climbed the mobile tower located in Ward No. 4 and refused to come down. She claimed that she did not receive justice in the alleged land dispute. The protest caused significant traffic congestion in the surrounding area as a large number of people gathered near the tower after news of the incident spread.
Police and Administrative Response
Police and administrative officials rushed to the spot and launched efforts to safely rescue the woman. Officials spent considerable time counselling and persuading her before successfully bringing the situation under control. The woman was eventually convinced to descend from the tower, and no injuries were reported.
