A 22-year-old youth was attacked and stabbed multiple times in Nagpur's Kapil Nagar area on April 25. The incident occurred at Bodhivriksha Budh Vihar, falling under the jurisdiction of Kapil Nagar police station.
Details of the Attack
The victim, identified as Himanshu Kohal, was present at the location when Rosting Anthony, aged 24, along with three accomplices, arrived on the scene. The group allegedly assaulted Kohal and stabbed him several times. The attack is believed to be the result of an old quarrel between the parties.
Police Action
Following the attack, the victim's mother, Nisha, aged 45, filed a complaint with the Kapil Nagar police. Acting on her plaint, law enforcement officials arrested Rosting Anthony from Jaripatka area. The search for the other three accused is currently underway.
The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter further. The victim is receiving medical treatment at a local hospital.
