Bengal Budget Proposes Five New Districts and AIIMS in North Bengal
Presenting the first full budget of the BJP government in the state Assembly, Finance Minister Swapan Dasgupta announced plans to create five new districts and establish an AIIMS in north Bengal. The finance minister emphasised that the AIIMS will provide advanced medical care and create employment opportunities for local youth.
