BJP's Criticism of TMC
Speaking to the media, Bhattacharya said, 'She can do whatever she wants, TMC has lost credibility.' He further alleged that the party lacks organizational strength on the ground, which he believes is a sign of its weakening influence in the state.
The BJP leader's comments come amid ongoing political tensions in West Bengal, where the ruling TMC and the opposition BJP have been locked in a bitter rivalry. Bhattacharya's remarks are part of a broader narrative by the BJP to question the TMC's governance and democratic credentials.
Organizational Weakness Alleged
Bhattacharya claimed that the TMC's organizational structure is crumbling, and the party is unable to mobilize support effectively. He said, 'The TMC has no organizational strength on the ground. Their workers are demoralized, and the party is surviving only on the charisma of Mamata Banerjee.'
He also accused the TMC of engaging in corrupt practices and failing to address the needs of the people. The BJP has been aggressively trying to expand its footprint in West Bengal, and such statements are aimed at discrediting the ruling party ahead of future elections.
The TMC, however, has dismissed these allegations as baseless and accused the BJP of spreading misinformation. The political battle between the two parties continues to intensify as both sides prepare for upcoming electoral contests.
