Three persons were injured in a road accident on the Ludhiana-Ferozepur National Highway on Sunday evening when a car plunged off the Raja Dhaba bridge in Jagraon. A couple and their daughter sustained injuries in the incident.
Accident Details
According to information, the car was travelling from Jagraon to Ludhiana. As it approached the bridge, the driver lost control after suddenly falling asleep. The vehicle broke through the railing and fell down onto the ground below.
Rescue and Medical Response
Locals present at the scene quickly pulled the injured out of the car and took them to a nearby hospital for treatment. The condition of the injured is reported to be stable.
The accident highlights the dangers of driving while drowsy. Authorities have urged drivers to take breaks during long journeys to avoid such incidents.
