During her visit, CM Gupta conducted an extensive tour of the Nirmal Chhaya campus, meticulously reviewing various schemes, services, and facilities. She launched and evaluated several key initiatives under the Department of Women and Child Development, reinforcing the Delhi government's steadfast commitment to the holistic empowerment of women and children.
Gupta highlighted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, women are achieving unprecedented milestones—from rural industries to corporate boardrooms, and from political arenas to the armed forces. She affirmed that the Delhi administration is aligned with this national trajectory, actively working to enhance women's empowerment and self-reliance.

In a significant announcement, Gupta revealed that the forthcoming Delhi Budget, scheduled for presentation on March 24, will incorporate crucial initiatives specifically designed for women and girls. Additionally, she stressed the necessity of expanding platforms such as 'Mahila Haat' to enable women to effectively showcase and market their products.

Gupta also toured the Sankalp Hub, where activities under Mission Shakti—focusing on women's safety, awareness, and empowerment—were displayed. At the SHG-operated 'Mahila Haat', she examined local products and exhibitions, including nutritious millet-based dishes.
Appreciation for Training Programs and Entrepreneurial Models
Interacting with women trained under the WCD-DSEU program, the Chief Minister commended the establishment of SHG-run canteens at 10 locations, describing it as a robust model for advancing women's entrepreneurship.
Furthermore, Gupta inspected the 'Samarth Anganwadi', where upgraded infrastructure, multi-dimensional activities, and comprehensive health and wellness services were showcased. She reviewed preventive health check-ups, wellness counseling, and menstrual hygiene awareness programs tailored for women.
Launch of Key Initiatives and Portal for Enhanced Service Delivery
During the program, the Chief Minister inaugurated several pivotal initiatives, including:
- A compendium of schemes related to women and children
- The WCD newsletter
- Distribution of health mix kits to pregnant and lactating mothers
