During her visit, CM Gupta meticulously inspected several critical facilities, including the After Care Home, Balika Grih, and Bal Niketan. She interacted directly with residents to assess arrangements related to safety, nutrition, and overall care, ensuring that these institutions meet high standards of support and protection.

The Chief Minister also reviewed programmes run by the Department of Women and Child Development, visiting the Sankalp Hub and a 'Samarth Anganwadi' centre. There, she examined health services, wellness initiatives, and awareness programmes aimed at improving the well-being of women and children. Gupta praised self-help group (SHG)-run canteens set up at multiple locations, describing them as a robust model for fostering entrepreneurship and community support.
Launch of New Initiatives
As part of the event, CM Gupta launched several new tools to strengthen service delivery. These included a compendium of welfare schemes, a departmental newsletter, and the Juvenile Justice Management Information System portal. These resources are designed to streamline operations and enhance transparency in welfare programmes.
Call for Public-Private Partnerships
Under the 'Give to Gain' initiative, Gupta called for increased public-private partnerships to upgrade anganwadi centres and expand support services for women and children. This collaborative approach aims to leverage private sector expertise and resources to improve infrastructure and outreach, ensuring more comprehensive care and development opportunities.
