Haryana CM: Rural areas developed like cities, welfare schemes highlighted

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday stated that the state government is developing rural areas on the lines of cities, with comprehensive development being a priority.

CM visits villages in Ladwa Assembly constituency

Saini visited Kheri Dabdalan, Gharoli, Bhallar, Dhanora Jattan, and Bhaini villages in the Ladwa Assembly constituency. Addressing public gatherings, he alleged that the Congress party has consistently followed a policy of making false promises.

He accused Congress of making commitments only to secure power, failing to implement them after assuming office. According to Saini, voters in Haryana rejected Congress even in the municipal elections.

Development under PM Modi’s leadership

The CM said, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has witnessed development at an accelerated pace over the past 12 years. Of the 217 Sankalps made to the people during the Assembly elections, 66 Sankalps have already been fulfilled, while work on the remaining 151 Sankalps is progressing swiftly.”

Saini announced grants for development works in the villages and assured village sarpanches that their demands for development projects would be fulfilled.

Welfare schemes highlighted

Highlighting welfare schemes, Saini said the government made dialysis services free for kidney patients in all government hospitals across the state. He also noted that all crops grown by farmers are being procured at Minimum Support Price (MSP).

The government fulfilled its promise of providing LPG cylinders at Rs 500 to eligible women. Under this scheme, the state government has already transferred more than Rs 300 crore in subsidy directly into beneficiaries’ bank accounts.

Education initiatives: Mission Buniyaad and Super 100

Saini mentioned that the Mission Buniyaad programme is being implemented in 103 government schools across Haryana, from which students are later selected for the Super 100 programme. This year, 270 students under Super 100 secured admission to premier institutions including IITs, NITs, and other leading institutes. He urged parents in rural areas to enrol their children in government schools, stating that the government is providing every necessary facility in these institutions.
