The first and strongest tremor, of magnitude 4.6, struck at 1:37 AM IST at a depth of 10 km, with its epicenter located at latitude 19.518 N, longitude 77.215 E. This was followed by a magnitude 3.6 quake at 2:15 AM (epicenter: 19.593 N, 77.153 E), a magnitude 3.9 at 2:17 AM (19.598 N, 77.164 E), and a magnitude 4.1 at 3:23 AM (19.589 N, 77.156 E). All four quakes occurred at a depth of 10 km, close to each other in the same region.
