Jaipur: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's charter flight was diverted to Jaipur on Thursday due to adverse weather conditions in Delhi. The flight was en route from Bengaluru to Delhi, carrying Siddaramaiah and other senior Congress leaders.

On Thursday evening, news agency ANI quoted the Karnataka Chief Minister's Office, confirming that the special flight landed in Jaipur instead of Delhi. The statement added that state in charge and AICC General Secretary Randeep Surjewala, Ministers KJ George and Bairati Suresh, Legal Advisor Ponnanna, Legislative Council Member Dr Yatindra, and AICC Secretary Abhishek Dutt were on board.
Other Diversions and Cancellations
Four Delhi-bound domestic flights were also diverted to Jaipur on Thursday evening. The diverted flights include Air India flight AI 1837 from Coimbatore, Air India flight AI 2718 from Coimbatore, Air India Express flight IX 1671 from Mumbai, and Indigo flight 6E 6150 from Guwahati. Additionally, a Jaipur-Chandigarh flight, 6E 7414, was cancelled due to bad weather in Chandigarh.
