The 86-year-old seer was brought to the Medanta Hospital in Lucknow with complaints of fever and weakness. Doctors diagnosed him with a urinary tract infection and admitted him for observation. Dr. Rakesh Kapoor, the attending physician, stated, "Mahant ji is stable and under medical supervision. We are monitoring his vitals closely."
Nritya Gopal Das, who also heads the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, has been in the news for his role in overseeing the construction of the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The trust is responsible for the temple's development and management.

Mahant Nritya Gopal Das is a prominent religious figure in Uttar Pradesh and has been associated with the Ram Janmabhoomi movement for decades.
