The event marked the allocation of funds for development projects and individual assistance, aimed at improving infrastructure and livelihoods in the constituency.

Beneficiaries receive sanction letters

During the function, Yaduveer handed over sanction letters to individuals and groups eligible for benefits under the MP Local Area Development (MP-LAD) fund and other government schemes. The beneficiaries included families seeking housing assistance, farmers requiring irrigation support, and small business owners applying for micro-credit. According to the MP's office, over 200 sanction letters were distributed in the first phase, covering a total outlay of approximately ₹5 crore.

Foundation stone for women advocates building

In a separate event, Yaduveer laid the foundation stone for a dedicated building for women advocates and notaries within the Mysuru District Court premises. The project is funded entirely under the 2024-25 MP-LAD fund, with an estimated cost of ₹1.2 crore. Speaking at the ceremony, the MP highlighted the need for safe and accessible workspaces for women legal professionals. "This building will provide a conducive environment for women advocates to practice law and serve the judiciary," he said.

The initiatives are part of Yaduveer's ongoing efforts to utilize MP-LAD funds effectively. The new building is expected to be completed within 18 months and will house chambers, a library, and waiting areas. Local bar association members expressed gratitude, noting that the facility would address long-standing demands for gender-sensitive infrastructure. The distribution of sanction letters also drew praise from beneficiaries, who said the assistance would help them improve their economic conditions.
