In a swift operation, Namma 112 teams in Bengaluru foiled an abduction bid and rescued a woman from a suicide attempt. The incident unfolded when the driver of a vehicle informed the accused that he did not have money, claiming his friend possessed it. The accused then summoned the friend to the location and attempted to abduct him.

When the driver stated his inability to pay and pointed to his friend as the one holding the funds, the accused called the friend to the scene. Upon arrival, the friend was forcibly taken by the accused, leading to an abduction attempt.

Alerted by bystanders, the Namma 112 emergency response team arrived promptly. They intervened, successfully rescuing the abducted individual and apprehending the accused. Simultaneously, the team also rescued a woman who was attempting suicide at the same location. Both individuals were provided with immediate medical and psychological assistance.
