Parmar Calls BJP's Victory in West Bengal and Assam a Historic Mandate
Parmar: BJP Wins in WB, Assam Historic Mandate

Himachal Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur's close aide, Dr. Rajiv Bindal, on Monday termed the party's victory in the West Bengal and Assam assembly elections as a historic mandate. He said the results reflected the people's faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and the BJP's development agenda.

Historic Mandate for BJP

Dr. Bindal, who is also the state's Health Minister, said that the BJP's performance in West Bengal, where it won 77 seats, and Assam, where it retained power with a landslide, was unprecedented. He added that the party's victory in these states would strengthen the hands of the Prime Minister and help in taking forward the agenda of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas'.

People's Verdict

The BJP chief said that the people of West Bengal and Assam had rejected the politics of appeasement and voted for development. He said that the mandate was a clear endorsement of the BJP's policies and programmes. Dr. Bindal also congratulated the party workers and leaders for their hard work and dedication.

He said that the BJP's victory in West Bengal was particularly significant as it broke the 34-year-long rule of the Trinamool Congress. In Assam, the party returned to power with a bigger mandate, defeating the Congress-led alliance.

Impact on National Politics

Dr. Bindal said that the results would have a positive impact on the party's performance in the upcoming assembly elections in other states. He said that the BJP would continue to work for the welfare of the people and strengthen the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.

The Health Minister also said that the party's victory in these states would help in fulfilling the vision of a 'New India'. He thanked the people for their support and assured them that the BJP would live up to their expectations.
