Massive Security Deployment for President Murmu's Nagpur Visit
Nagpur is under a comprehensive security blanket as President Droupadi Murmu arrives for a two-day official visit starting Wednesday. Authorities have mobilized approximately 1,500 police personnel to ensure safety across key venues throughout the city.
Detailed Police Force Arrangements
The security deployment includes a robust hierarchy of officers and specialized units. Seven deputy commissioners of police will oversee operations, supported by 12 assistant commissioners and 44 police inspectors. Additionally, 151 assistant police inspectors and sub-inspectors have been assigned to various posts.
Traffic management will be handled by 450 dedicated personnel to facilitate smooth movement during the presidential engagements. For contingency scenarios, authorities have positioned four teams each of anti-riot forces and rapid action forces, ready to respond to any emergent situations.

- Overnight Stay: Residing at Lok Bhavan before traveling to Sevagram Ashram on Thursday.
- Thursday: Attending the convocation ceremony of Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya.
