Akhilesh Yadav was born on July 1, 1973, in Saifai, Uttar Pradesh, to Mulayam Singh Yadav and Malti Devi. He studied at Dholpur Military School in Rajasthan, earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Environmental Engineering from the University of Mysore, and completed a master’s degree in the same field from the University of Sydney, Australia.
