Rahul Gandhi Emphasizes Consistent Performance at Punjab Congress Meeting
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday urged the Punjab Congress district chiefs to maintain consistent performance, stating that it would lead to bigger rewards. Senior Congress leaders, including Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring and former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, were also present. They discussed ways to improve coordination between the state leadership and district units. Gandhi's remarks come amid efforts to consolidate the party's base in Punjab, where it faces stiff competition from the Aam Aadmi Party and the Shiromani Akali Dal.
The district chiefs were advised to focus on issues such as farmer welfare, unemployment, and inflation. Gandhi also emphasized the need for transparency and accountability within the party. The meeting concluded with a resolve to work collectively for the party's success in future electoral battles.
