Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday asserted that Sanatan Dharma is invincible and resides in the consciousness of India. Speaking at an event, he emphasised that the redevelopment and restoration of major pilgrimage centres across the country reflect the resurgence of India’s civilisational pride.
Sanatan Dharma: Eternal and Unconquerable
Addressing a gathering, Yogi Adityanath said, “Sanatan is not just a religion but a way of life that has been guiding humanity for millennia. It is invincible and resides in the very consciousness of India. The ongoing efforts to restore and beautify our pilgrimage sites are not merely infrastructure projects; they are a testament to our cultural and spiritual revival.”
Restoration of Pilgrimage Centres
The Chief Minister highlighted several key projects, including the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor in Varanasi, the Mahakal Lok in Ujjain, and the ongoing development of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He stated that these initiatives have not only improved facilities for devotees but also revived the ancient glory of these sacred places. “Each restored temple and renovated ghat tells the story of India’s enduring heritage,” he added.
Civilisational Pride and National Identity
Yogi Adityanath stressed that the restoration work is a symbol of India’s civilisational pride and its emergence as a global spiritual leader. He called upon the youth to connect with their roots and take pride in the nation’s ancient wisdom. “India’s consciousness is deeply rooted in Sanatan values, and this revival will inspire generations to come,” he said.
The event was attended by religious leaders, government officials, and a large number of devotees. The Chief Minister also urged everyone to contribute to the preservation of India’s cultural heritage.
