Bengaluru: The retest of the agricultural and veterinary medical practical examination will be conducted at the Hiriyur centre in Chitradurga on June 1. The Common Entrance Test (CET) results will be announced only after this examination is completed.
Reason for Retest
This decision was taken after Keladi Shivappa Nayaka Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences University, Iruvakki, Shivamogga, decided to reconduct the agricultural practical examination for candidates of the Hiriyur centre following allegations of irregularities in the initial exam.
According to the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), a total of 24,250 candidates applied for the agricultural practical examination. The CET results will be declared only after the university releases the marks of those who appeared for the practical exam.
Information for Candidates
In a press release, KEA stated that candidates can obtain information about counselling and registration options. Additionally, they can participate in the CET seat-allocation awareness programme being held in government engineering and medical colleges until May 30.
