SPC Camp Aikya 2026 Ends with Grand Parade in Thiruvananthapuram

The six-day Student Police Cadet (SPC) camp, known as 'Aikya 2026', is set to conclude on Monday with a vibrant parade. Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala will take the salute during the ceremony, which is scheduled to take place at 4 pm on the grounds of VPS Malankara Higher Secondary School in Venganoor, Thiruvananthapuram.

Participation and Representation

A total of 939 cadets, carefully selected from Student Police Cadet units across various districts of the state, participated in the camp. Among the districts, Kollam recorded the highest participation with 107 cadets attending the event.

Interactive Sessions and Activities

Throughout the camp, cadets had the opportunity to interact with a diverse range of professionals, including civil service officers, cultural personalities, renowned cricketer Sanju Samson, media professionals, and film personalities. The camp also featured sessions on gender inclusivity organized by the Women and Child Development Department, health awareness classes, physical training, and parade practice.

In addition to these activities, cadets visited notable locations such as the Thumba Space Museum, Vizhinjam International Seaport, and Cyberdome. They also participated in indoor and outdoor classes, Zumba, and yoga sessions, ensuring a well-rounded experience.

Valedictory Function

The valedictory function will be attended by several senior police officials, including State Police Chief Ravada A Chandrasekhar, Police Headquarters ADGP S Sreejith, IG S Ajitha Begum, and other dignitaries.
