A resident of an apartment in RT Nagar, Bengaluru, has been booked for allegedly abusing and hindering census officials earlier this week. The incident occurred on April 20 at an apartment complex in Ganesha Block, RT Nagar, during enumeration work, according to a complaint filed by a census officer from Bengaluru North City Corporation.
FIR Registered at RT Nagar Police Station
The First Information Report (FIR) was registered on Saturday at the RT Nagar police station. The officer alleged that the resident used abusive language and interfered with government work. Based on the complaint, the police filed an FIR under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including charges for obstruction of public servants and misconduct during official work.
