Gurgaon: Contract Dispute Turns Violent, Vehicles Damaged

A violent altercation erupted in the Ansal Industrial Area of Pathredi village, Gurgaon, on Wednesday over a loading-unloading contract dispute, resulting in significant damage to several vehicles and prompting police intervention. According to law enforcement officials, two groups confronted each other at a company in the industrial area, leading to a heated argument that escalated into a physical clash. During the melee, parked vehicles were vandalized, and some individuals sustained injuries.

Allegations of Gunfire

Sources reported that gunshots were heard during the confrontation, causing panic among local residents and workers. However, police have stated that they are still verifying these claims and have not yet confirmed any firing incident. ACP Pataudi Manoj remarked, "A case has been registered at Bilaspur police station against the individuals involved. We found that cars were damaged. Regarding the firing, we are verifying if any such incident occurred."

Police Investigation Underway

Following the clash, teams from Bilaspur police station, the office of the ACP, and the crime branch of Farrukhnagar arrived at the scene and launched an investigation. Authorities are examining CCTV footage from nearby areas to identify the perpetrators. During the probe, police discovered four vehicles at the site, including a Swift, a Thar, and two Brezza cars. Notably, two of these vehicles lacked number plates. Additionally, a black Scorpio was found parked under suspicious circumstances.

Officials are verifying the ownership of these vehicles and investigating whether they are linked to the individuals involved in the clash. According to sources, members of both groups fled before police arrived, with some allegedly escaping through routes near Bilaspur village.

Arrests Made

A police officer confirmed that 10 accused, including the main suspect, have been apprehended in connection with the case. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities working to piece together the events leading up to the violent confrontation.
