Residents of Palampur and its surrounding areas are increasingly anxious following a spate of recent incidents involving molestation, assault, theft, and violence. The frequency of these events has sparked widespread discussions about public safety and the urgent need for more robust preventive policing measures. Molestation Case Shocks Town
One of the most disturbing incidents involved an Australian woman who was allegedly molested at a local salon by an employee. After she filed a complaint, police registered a case and arrested the suspect. The quick response was widely praised by the public.
Restaurant Firing Creates Panic
In another alarming event, a dispute over food service at a restaurant near Palampur escalated into a firing incident, causing panic among customers and locals. Police promptly registered a case and launched an investigation.
