Security has been tightened across the national capital ahead of a special session of the Delhi Assembly scheduled for today. The Delhi Police have deployed additional personnel and set up multiple checkpoints in and around the assembly complex to ensure law and order.
Enhanced Security Measures
According to officials, the security arrangements include the deployment of anti-drone systems, quick reaction teams, and bomb disposal squads. The police have also increased patrolling in sensitive areas and are conducting random checks of vehicles entering the vicinity of the assembly.
Traffic Advisory Issued
The traffic police have issued an advisory, informing commuters about possible diversions and restrictions on certain routes near the assembly. Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and cooperate with the authorities.
The special session is expected to discuss key issues, including the law and order situation in the city and recent developments related to the ongoing political tussle between the ruling Aam Aadmi Party and the central government.
