Vadodara: Two persons were killed in separate road accidents on the national highway in the last 24 hours.
First Incident: Woman Killed by Luxury Bus
In the first incident on Wednesday night, Jagruti Pandya was travelling on a two-wheeler with her son Sanjiv when she stopped near Jambua bridge after feeling unwell. A luxury bus coming from behind hit the stationary vehicle. Pandya, who worked at an anganwadi, died on the spot, while the bus driver fled the scene after the accident.
Second Incident: Motorcyclist Run Over by Two Trucks
In the second incident, a 29-year-old Pradyuman Yadav was riding a motorcycle near Kapurai bridge when he was hit by a truck on Thursday. He was flung onto the road, following which another truck coming from behind also ran over him. Yadav, who was on his way for office work, died on the spot.
Police Investigation Underway
Kapurai police have registered a complaint and initiated further investigation into both cases.
