He referenced reports indicating that in Uthangarai, located near Krishnagiri, an elderly man was brutally murdered and his wife subjected to a horrific sexual assault. Furthermore, in Chennai's Tirusulam area, two individuals were killed, while in Sankarankovil within Tenkasi district, a farmer lost his life under violent circumstances.
"The chief minister, who holds the ultimate responsibility for maintaining law and order, has remained conspicuously silent on these grave incidents," Palaniswami alleged. He emphasized that these murders are not isolated events confined to remote locations but are occurring "everywhere and all the time," painting a grim picture of widespread insecurity.

He declared that the DMK government is "counting its last days" and confidently predicted that an AIADMK-led coalition will successfully dethrone the ruling party in the upcoming assembly elections.
