Yadav leveraged social media reactions to assert that the perceived insult to the seer has deeply wounded followers of Sanatan Dharma across India and beyond.
Sanatan Dharma Insulted, Says Akhilesh Yadav
Posting a formal statement, Akhilesh Yadav expressed that every disciple and adherent of Jagat Guru Shankaracharya is currently saddened and pained by the disrespect shown to the swami. He emphasized that this incident reflects a broader disrespect towards Sanatan Dharma itself.
BJP Accused of Power Grab and Anti-Sanatan Conspiracy
Yadav alleged that the BJP's handling of the entire situation reveals its intent, along with its associates, to seize control of all forms of power. He criticized the party for demanding documents from those whose Sanatani traditions have thrived for centuries, long before the invention of paper.
Further escalating his accusations, Akhilesh Yadav stated that the BJP's dream of witnessing the end of Sanatan Dharma will never materialize. He linked this incident to other controversies, such as the alleged insult to saints in Prayagraj and the demolition of heritage associated with Ahilya Devi Holkar in Kashi, branding them all as part of a conspiracy by the BJP and its allies to destroy Sanatani traditions.
Public Backlash and BJP's Exposed Deception
By sharing video messages from the public, Yadav highlighted that people are now awakening and openly speaking out against the BJP government. He claimed that the deceptive nature of the BJP has been fully exposed, leading the party onto a path of decline, as deceitful power cannot endure indefinitely.
Akhilesh Yadav noted that genuine followers of Sanatan are anguished by these events and are vocalizing their sentiments on social media platforms. The increasing volume of such videos, according to him, proves that public resentment against the BJP's anti-religion conduct is steadily mounting.

Cautioning his party cadre about BJP's alleged conspiracies ahead of the 2027 assembly polls, Akhilesh Yadav described the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections as no less than an 'agnipariksha' or trial by fire for democracy itself.
BJP's Alleged Dishonesty and PDA Community Focus
Yadav asserted that the BJP has lost all honesty towards the people and harbors hatred towards the PDA (Pichhda, Dalit, Alpsankhyak) community, never missing an opportunity to humiliate them. He predicted that this very PDA community will ultimately defeat the BJP in the polls.
Concluding his remarks, Akhilesh Yadav declared that the current government's arrogance has peaked, and the time is ripe to put an end to this arrogance through democratic means.
