In a significant push to upgrade urban infrastructure, Punjab Cabinet Minister and Sunam MLA Aman Arora has launched a series of development projects with a total outlay of Rs 3.68 crore across various wards of Sunam city. The inaugurated and newly started works encompass several key locations in Sunam. The specific projects include:
- The inauguration of newly constructed rooms at the Sati Shivala Temple on Jakhepal Road, built at a cost of Rs 13.78 lakh.
- The commencement of new works for streets, drains, and tiling worth Rs 1 crore in Wards No. 8, 9, and 10 at Fateh Nagar Bakhshiwala.
- The start of new development works valued at Rs 40.43 lakh in Ward No. 22 near H-9 Hotel on Pir Banna Banoi Road.
- The initiation of new projects worth Rs 43.26 lakh in Ward No. 13 at Regar Dharmshala.
Focus on Cleanliness, Safety, and City Beautification
Minister Arora explained that the core objective of these projects is to tackle persistent issues related to streets and drainage, thereby providing residents with a cleaner and safer environment.
